Decontamination Coatings
Isotron has an established track record in the area of strippable and self-decontaminating surface coatings. In the late-1980s, Isotron designed, patented and commercialized the Isolock-300 coating system which was used in decontamination of the reactor cavity during refueling and decomissioning activities. The coating was used successfully at Oyster Creek, Houston Power and Light, Nine-mile and DC Cook (to name a few). A performance report published by nine mile can be found here.
