ISOTRON TECHNOLOGY

Isotron has or currently supports customers from Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Energy, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), nuclear utilities and commercial sector through contract R&D, services and product sales relationships. The company is currently recognized as a leader in the research of advanced military coatings, reactive coatings and strippable decontamination coatings and has a long history in the design and deployment of electrochemistry-enabled systems for in-situ remediation of sites contaminated with mercury, lead, chrome, uranium, thorium and organic chemicals.

Among Isotron's recent achievements include specific citation for the development of breakthrough technology in the Homeland Security and Homeland Defense Global Market Outlook for Decontamination Emerging Technologies. Isotron supports a number of innovative products, including the IsoCARC (Chemical Agent Resistant Coating) product and its Isolock and Radblock strippable coatings product lines.

Isotron's electrokinetics technologies have recently gained visibility due to their application to large-scale water detection and remediation. Two projects were recently completed for the United States Navy and EPA to demonstrate this technology for radionuclide detection and high flow-through water remediation applications.
